Halloween Trick or Treat Trail
Follow this awesome Halloween trail around Covent Garden to discover new places, learn fun facts and receive some fang-tastic FREE treats from wonderful companies along the route!
This Family friendly trail is on throughout October!
Bub Quiz – Halloween Special!
The original baby and toddler friendly pub quiz! Test your brain and win fantastic prizes all whilst meeting other local parents in a friendly, safe environment!
Babies and toddlers aged 0-4years are welcome, as are partners, grandparents and friends.
1st – 31st October (pop up bar ends on 24th)
Yes that’s right, a whole month of cocktails! Covent Garden will be the hub of LCW with not only its main bar in Essence House on Floral street (all cocktails £7, mocktails £5), but also plenty of bars in and around the area offering signature cocktails.
To guarantee a fixed price of £7 per cocktail and £5 per mocktail in ALL participating venues, you can opt in for a wrist band for just £15 which lasts the whole month.
Essence is free to enter, for 18+ only and open 12pm – 11pm Tuesday – Sunday.
13th – 25th October
Wizarding World Wands!
Calling all Harry Potter fans! Leicester Square is set to showcase a collection of giant Wizarding World Wands to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, the film first premiered in Leicester Square in 2001.
The wands will be lit between 6pm and 8:30pm daily.
15th – 24th October
For ten days the streets, parks, museums, galleries, laboratories, public and private buildings of this vibrant cultural quarter play host to up to 130 events.
The festival places the stories of the people, places and cultures of Bloomsbury at it’s heart, taking the creative talent of local established institutions and adding in emerging talent with new themes and threads – shining light on the tradition of freethinking and celebrating the ‘rebels’ within Bloomsbury.

Temper Covent Garden
Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and helping support their spiritual journey.
In Mexican culture, death is viewed as a natural part of the human cycle. Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awaken and celebrate with them.
Food is a key part of the festivities, so Temper have created a full feast for you to enjoy, including three courses and sides!

Halloween Pumpkin Market
Returning to the Apple Market this October is the stunningly autumnal pumpkin display which will feature over two hundred pumpkins, squashes and gourds available to purchase in various shapes and sizes!

The Boogie Shoes: The Freak out Halloween Special!
Come on a fang-tastic dance walk through the streets of London. Expect magical happenings with Londoners and tourists and spontaneous commentary from Ruth the Wicked who will lead you to flash mobs of singing and raving in the streets with feel-good uplifting music.
What a great way to roam around Hallowed Historical London. Zombies and Skeletons welcome!
Halloween Play in the Park
This spooky Play in the Park session will be jam packed with fun run by friendly playworkers with endless possibilities for children to direct their own play …. all with a sprinkling of seasonal magic on top!

Covent Garden Comedy Club
The Covent Garden Comedy Club, most successful Comedy Club in the West End, is celebrating 19 years of making London laugh!
Michael McIntyre, Alan Carr, Noel Fielding, Stephen K Amos, Mickey Flanagan, Zoe Lyons, Romesh Ranganathan and a host of other famous acts have all been regular performers.
Perfect for all sizes from big birthday groups and office parties to shy couples on first dates!
A superb interactive concert the whole family can enjoy! There will be lots of singing along and performances are enhanced with bubbles, puppetry, dance moves and more!
The concert takes pace in St Paul’s Church.
Soho Night Market!
Head over to Rupert street for an evening of delicious food and drinks from around the world accompanied by live music at the first ever International Food Festival at Rupert Street Market.
Comedy Bloomers is a FREE monthly comedy showcase for LGBTQ+ acts and more in London.
It is also the home of LGBTQ+ New Comedian of the Year competition.
BFI London Film Festival
For those who still can’t be there in person, this year’s LFF is putting some of its best titles online. However, if you can get there in person, the selection of films on offer this year is super exciting.
And its not just for adults! The LFF has a Families Programme full of films suitable for all ages of children.
Chila Burman Covent Garden takeover
‘Do you see words in Rainbows?’
This new immersive art installation is super dazzling. Whilst it best seen at night, the neon lights are vibrant enough to see during the day. Head over to the Market Building in the Piazza.
The installation will also offer support to the LGBTQI+ community. Simply share your photos and add #CoventGardenInRainbows and £1 will be donated to the Albert Kennedy Trust, a youth homelessness charity.
Summer Box Office
Pull up a deckchair and enjoy the free screenings at The Yards this summer!
The schedule includes live sports and feature films, plus exclusive film screenings with London Film School.
Each Friday and Sunday in August they will also be showing family friendly films.

Summer has officially arrived so come and enjoy a free market hunt in the Jubilee Market, Covent Garden. Look high and low around the market for key objects and say hello to the fantastic traders as you go!
There is no set route or time, you can start wherever you want, whenever you want (during open hours!).
The Royal Opera House are hosting a free festival for all the family! This summer you can see free performances, take part in dance workshops and adventure through Covent Garden to find selected windows showcasing amazing costumes and displays.
The theatrical trail takes you to key landmarks around Covent Garden associated with the Royal Opera House and theatrical creative life.
