Soho Village Fete

The Soho Village Fete is back, with a special Golden Jubilee celebration to mark 50 years since the event was first staged in 1975.

Visitors can join the Soho Community for this one-of-a-kind, quirky but traditional fete in London’s most central village.
Starting at midday, expect all the usual madness in St Anne’s Gardens, from a Dog Show to Drag Queens and six hours of live music. This family day is packed full of entertainment, with a tombola, a cracking raffle, and all the drama of the Tug of War and the iconic waiter’s race through the streets of Soho.


Family Farm Day

For one day only, Vauxhall City Farm are heading north of the river Thames for a fantastic Family Farm Day in the heart of Covent Garden; something which has never been done before!

You can enjoy seeing the large animals, have snuggles in the Cuddle Corner with the small animals, take part in the educational workshops, have your face painted, enjoy story time sessions, pick up a treat from the gift shop, and make the most of the photo ops. Entry to the event is free with a suggested donation to The Farm.


Summer Play Days

On four Wednesdays over the summer holidays, for five whole glorious hours families are invited some completely child-directed play for all ages. Simply drop in whenever you like and let your children explore!

They’ll be bringing a spot of adventure play with loads on offer, from oodles of loose parts to junk modelling, messy play, painting, den making, woodwork and even some building.

Bow Street Museum of Crime and Justice

This Summer there’s twice as much fun as with TWO workshops for families to chose from! Or why not stop by for both?

Fitzrovia Fete

The annual fête offers is back and offers a wonderful time in the neighbourhood filled with free activities to be enjoyed by all.

Enjoy street performances, music and art workshops, play, dance, enjoy delicious food, relax and have a lovely afternoon out!

All the fun happens in Foley Street, between Cleveland Street and Ogle Street.


Footways walks in London

London Heritage Quarter Footways

Westminster City Council have collaborated with Footways London, to create a new map encouraging people to explore and walk more throughout our city. The map connects major places with quiet, appealing, and accessible routes to help people choose a more enjoyable, efficient, and healthy way of moving around the city.


London Transport Museum

This summer, London Transport Museum are celebrating 200 years of railways. 

From the first underground railway to the opening of the Elizabeth Line, they will be celebrating key milestones in London’s railway’s history and the stories of people who have made them possible. There will be a series of fun family activities including storytelling, arts & crafts and workshops.  


The Garden Cinema

For a wonderful selection of family friendly films this summer, head to The Garden Cinema. Their ‘Films for the Family’ season continues, so grab the kids and choose from a selection of great family films such as The Aristocats, The Parent Trap, The Simpsons Movie, and Monsieur Hulot’s Holiday.
