Halloween Trick or Treat Trail

Free spooky family friendly trail

Halloween is a great time of year for children to dress up and eat copious amounts of naughty treats! This year I have put together a FREE family friendly ‘Halloween Trick or Treat Trail’ which will take you on a journey in and around Covent Garden. Along the way you will explore areas of Covent Garden you may never have been to before, as well as testing your observation skills and learning some fun facts. But best of all, you will bag yourself some awesome treats from these fang-tastic contributors:

All you need to do is download the trail and head to Covent Garden any day in October. The trail is absolutely best to follow when printed out, however, you can read it on a smart device should (like me) your printer rarely have ink!

Check out page 1 of the trail for more information (trail duration, treat offers – both edible and none edible, step free access), as well as details for the super awesome Halloween trail photo competition!

Please note: All treats are available while stocks last and stores may close at short notice.

By downloading and completing the trail, you agree to the terms and conditions set out HERE.

Bub Quiz

Halloween Special

The original baby and toddler friendly pub quiz is hosting a Halloween special on the 27th October at 11am.

Test your brain and win fantastic prizes all whilst meeting other local parents in a friendly, safe environment!

Babies and toddlers aged 0-4years are welcome, as are partners, grandparents and friends.

Pumpkin Carving

Wands & Wizard Exploratorium

Pumpkin carving at the Wands & Wizard Exploratorium is brilliant for two reasons: Firstly, the staff are wonderful. Secondly, and importantly, the pumpkins are pre-shelled and ready to carve!

Everything you need is supplied, you just turn up, pick a pumpkin and get served a delicious drink as part of your booking.

I went with my toddler, and together (mainly me) we created the masterpiece in the above image…

BABY BITS

  • Kids menu: Child friendly drink as part of the booking.
  • Highchair / Baby change: No
  • Pushchair space: Yes, but limited.
  • Access: One step on entry. Then very tight twisty stairs up to the carving room. The staff are more than happy to help carry bits up for you.

Temper

Day of the Dead Feast

Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and helping support their spiritual journey.

In Mexican culture, death is viewed as a natural part of the human cycle. Mexicans view it not as a day of sadness but as a day of celebration because their loved ones awaken and celebrate with them.

Food is a key part of the festivities, so Temper have created a full feast for you to enjoy on the 29th and 30th October, including three courses and sides!

The Boogie Shoes

The Freak out Halloween Special

Come on a fang-tastic dance walk through the streets of London. Expect magical happenings with Londoners and tourists and spontaneous commentary from Ruth the Wicked who will lead you to flash mobs of singing and raving in the streets with feel-good uplifting music.

What a great way to roam around Hallowed Historical London. Zombies and Skeletons welcome!

Below is a photo of my daughters first ever Halloween. She was dressed as a pumpkin while sat with Europe’s largest pumpkin, which was in Covent Garden. I can’t wait to see your photos taken during the Halloween trail!

Have fun!
