Halloween Trail

By downloading and completing the Halloween Trick or Treat Trail, you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.

Halloween Trick or Treat Trail Terms and Conditions:

1. Whilst on the trail

1a. You accept full liability and are solely responsible for the safety of you and of your group while following and completing the trail.

1b. Covent Garden Mum (herein known as CGM) provides guidance on the suitability of this trail for those completing it. This information is available on page 5 of the trail. CGM deems this information to be correct but cannot be held responsible for any information and/or guidance which may seem to be inaccurate by you. This includes suitability for wheelchair and pushchair users such as step free access, as well as duration of the trail.

1c. Whilst on the trail, you are responsible for making the decision to stop and should not carry on if you feel the guidance is not suitable for you or your party.

2. Contributors

2a. All trick or treat contributors listed on the trail are solely responsible for the trick or treat given to you or your party during the trail. CGM is not responsible in any way for what is given to you or your party. CGM does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death to anyone occurring as a result of you or your party accepting any ‘trick or treat’ products during the trail.

3. COVID 19

3a. Please ensure you stick to the COVID 19 guidelines as set out by the UK government, and any updates of this including but not limited to; wearing face coverings when inside, frequent washing of hands / using hand sanitiser and social distancing. 

3b. CGM is not responsible for individuals actions whilst on the trail or any breach of COVID 19 guidelines.

4. Copying and Sharing

4a. CGM is the owner of all intellectual property rights of this trail, which is protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved. In downloading this trail, you are hereby granted a limited licence to use this material for personal use.

You must not:

  • modify the paper or digital copy of this product in any way.
  • use any illustrations, photographs, or graphics separately from any accompanying text. 

If you are found to be in breach of this clause, CGM reserve all rights to take further action as appropriate.

4b. CGM supply this product for domestic and private use. CGM reserves the right to take action against you for business use of this product without prior permission.

5. Photo Competition

5a. The winning entry will be selected by CGM and notified via Instagram.

5b. The winner will be entitled to receive a prize in accordance with these terms.

5c. You confirm that you own the copyright of any submitted photograph into the competition at the time of your entry.  

5d. CGM has the right to use any and all photographic entries submitted in all media, worldwide, in perpetuity.

5e. If you are the winner, you agree that we may use your name and image to announce the winner of this photo competition and for any other reasonable and related promotional purposes.

6. How to enter

6a. The photo competition is open to anyone who has completed the CGM Halloween Trick or Treat Trail. Entries must be submitted as per these steps:

  • Follow @coventgardenmum on Instagram.
  • Submit a photograph taken by you on the Halloween Trick or Treat Trail.
  • Use #coventgardenmum on your entry post.

6b. The competition will end at 6pm GMT on the 1st November 2020. All entries submitted after 6pm GMT on 1st November 2020 will not be considered.

6c. The prize is not negotiable or transferrable. 

6d. By entering the competition, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions.

7. Eligibility

7a. The competition is only open to residents in the UK aged 18 years or over. In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so.

7b. Entries will not be considered if they are deemed:

  • indecent, threatening, obscene or inappropriate.
  • incomplete.

7c. There is no limit to the number of photo competition entries you make. 

8. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

8a. If you are the winner, you will have 28 days from the announcement date to claim the prize. If you do not claim the prize by this date, your claim will become invalid.

8b. CGM does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to receive the prize for any reason.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

9a. CGM will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death to anyone occurring as a result of the competition winner accepting the prize.
